Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By using this site, you are agreeing to be bound by these conditions. None of the conditions below affect your statutory rights.
Hiring via the Website.
Payment terms: goods must be paid for in advance with a suitable credit or debit card.
We accept all major credit and debit cards except American Express. These are Delta, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Visa and Visa Electron.
An alternative payment method (Cheque or Cash) can be arranged, provided that this has previously been agreed either in writing or by telephone.
A security bond must be left in form of full debit or credit card details. Credit card details will be kept on file until the costume is returned.

Should there be loss or damage to the costume the replacement or repair costs will be charged to the debit or credit card or deducted from the cash bond or cheque.
The amount charged will be in relation to the costume category as specified when ordering the costume. Values as specified below:
All costumes must be returned in the condition in which they were hired. (excluding cleaning)
It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that the measurements given are recent and accurate. To insure a comfortable fit Script to Screen can accept no responsibility for garments that are later deemed to be not suitable or ill fitting, and in these cases no refund of hire fee can be considered.
Any alterations or additions to the costume hired will be considered damage and the costs incurred in restoring the costume will be deducted from the security bond held.
All costume must be returned by the date specified when ordering. Late returns will be charged at half the rate quoted for hire, per each three-day period of non-return, until the costume has been returned to 'Script to Screen'. If after two weeks the costume has still not been returned it will be deemed lost and the hirer will be invoiced accordingly for the replacement of the costume. Costs as far as possible will be deducted from the security bond held; the hirer will be required to make good any shortfall in the funds held on security bond.
There will be a cancellation fee of £10 (ten pounds) per costume charged for the cancellation of an order prior to collection and after order has been processed.
Script to Screen accepts no responsibility for any footwear hired. Footwear is worn at the customer's own risk. This however does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Not all costumes have been fire proofed; extra care must be taken when wearing the costume.
Buying via the Website
Goods bought may be returned for exchange within 28 days of purchase, provided they are deemed to be faulty and are accompanied with a valid receipt as proof of purchase.
Make-up and eyelashes cannot be exchanged or refunded.
All details are accurate and shown in good faith at the time of publishing this site. If, however errors or mistakes of any sort are found, please do let us know by e-mail or other method.
The pictures of the accessories are for information only. The design of these items may change without warning, and are supplied subject to availability.
Purchasing via the Internet.
By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This applies to some of the products that we sell. Notable exceptions to this would be makeup, or any other item which cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (faulty goods may still be returned for a refund).
Please note: Your order does not count as a contract of sale until such time as Script to Screen Costumes started to process your order. In the unlikely event of a discrepancy in price between the web site and the actual price of the hire, Script to Screen will contact you prior to dispatch.
